About
About this blog
I normally become interested in something, then go down a rabbit hole learning a ton about it and eventually build or produce something from that process(hopefully 😄). Once it’s working, I often don’t touch it again for years and forget most of the details.
This has happened a few times now, I recall around 2016 I decided to become well versed in stock trading(I will be the next Warren Buffet) sufficed to say nope, still not rich and the other downside is I forgot most of it. I recall some useful information like basic business metrics which I would have loved to document for easy reference.
Thus the main purpose of this blog is to remind my future self what was done and why. If it helps someone else along the way, that’s a bonus.
Note: My spelling isn’t great — excuse the mistakes 😄

Mind boggling
Hobbies
Most of what I write about here will revolve around:
- Fiddling with routers and computers 🤓
- Lifting weights, training, dieting and competing in bodybuilding — I’m not very good, but I enjoy it 💪
- Life stuff, like motivation etc.
- Even some development and learning of technologies - golang, svelte, ansible and the list goes on.
- Stocks, trading and business metrics.
Childhood
I grew up in a middle-class family with a good childhood and two very supportive parents.
From a young age I was fascinated by how things worked — taking toy cars apart, especially the wind-up ones you pull back and release so they shoot off.
I was also intrigued by how Atari systems produced images and sound from what looked like a simple block inside the cartridge. Naturally, I took those apart too. Fortunately, they’re fairly hard to break.
